Emily Matlock

Emily Matlock is a long time Validity Veteran. She started with Validity Screening Solutions back in 2008 and has grown and developed with her career with Validity. Emily started with Validity as an Account Executive and is now the Director of Client Relations. She has had plenty of success, but most recently, she was awarded the Patriotic Employer award through The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) for her support to fellow Validity team member and Army Reservist, Jacob Bojanski. Emily was recognized for this award by “Contributing to National Security and Protecting Liberty and Freedom by Supporting Employee Participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force.” she was honored to not only be awarded but to even be nominated by Jacob for her support and understanding of his duties.

The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve

ESGR is an agency that promotes public and private understanding of the National Guard and Reserve in order to gain support from employers and the community. Having an employee with Validity who is in the Army Reserve and serves our country inspires us all to hold their values and expectations, and Validity Veterans like Emily Matlock work to go above and beyond those expectations. “Even though Emily has not personally served in the Army she encompasses the Army’s Values without failure,” said Jacob

Small Actions, Huge Impacts

Peace of mind is one of the greatest things a person can have. The reassurance of knowing that everything is going to be okay can mean the world, and Emily has been able to give that to Jacob. Emily has shown an incredible amount of understanding and dedication to Jacob’s service. She has consistently shown this support by not only approving multiple requests for time off but by showing Jacob a constant desire to ensure that he knows that he is an asset to the company. Not only does that give peace of mind to Jacob but also to his family. Jacob’s family means the world to him, and Jacob is happy to know that Emily keeps his family in her thoughts as well.

“When I informed Emily about my deployment, the first thing she asked me was how my family and I were doing handling the news. She went on to tell me that my position within the company was always safe and my potential for a promotion would only increase upon my return to the company,” said Jacob
