Darren Dupriest, Validity Screening Solutions, to present at Minnesota State SHRM Conference
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (October 8, 2015) – President and CEO of Validity Screening Solutions, Darren Dupriest, will be a featured speaker at the 2015 Minnesota State SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) conference. Dupriest is slotted to speak at the conference on the topic of Identity Theft Prevention where he will outline the scope of identity theft as well as practical preventive measures that can be employed at any level.
This presentation is made to Human Resource professionals in an effort to “train the trainer,” so that attendees can return to their companies and share the information with all employees. “Identity theft is best controlled when individuals create personal and familiar barriers,” says Dupriest. “This encourages a ‘contagion’ effect as a solution.”
Attendees will be provided a wealth of resources to prevent and correct identity theft. Dupriest’s presentation will cover:
- How to define “Identity Theft”
- How to implement preventive measures in both personal and professional environments
- How perpetrators identify and target victims
- How employers are affected by Identity Theft in the workplace
- What steps a victim of Identity Theft can take to rectify their situation
This presentation will be held at the MN SHRM conference on Monday, October 12 at 4:00pm at the Mayo Civic Center, in Rochester, Minn.
