Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Compliance Training
Everyone on our operations team holds a FCRA Basic Certification through the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA). In addition, several team members, including Validity’s Leadership team, have earned the Advanced FCRA Certification. We provide our clients with all the necessary FCRA compliance documentation and ongoing training on their proper use. As a new client, you will receive sample FCRA-compliant documentation to serve as a foundation for your program. Your specific state requirements will also be addressed. We have the tools needed to ensure your program remains in compliance and to give you confidence in your background screening processes.
Compliance Automation Software (CAS)
Our Compliance Automation Software, also referred to as CAS, is Validity’s cloud-based software designed to reduce uncertainty and risk related to non-compliance. The software is mobile-friendly and is integrated into our online ordering system, enabling quick and easy requests for background checks. Additionally, CAS is customizable, allowing your organization to tailor the platform to address your specific compliance challenges.
Did you know that non-compliant release forms continue to pose legal risks for employers’ background screening practices? CAS helps mitigate this risk by presenting candidates with FCRA-required documents, such as disclosure and authorization forms.Once signed, these forms are automatically transmitted to Validity for processing, eliminating the need for manual uploads or faxes. CAS also streamlines the adverse action process by enabling your organization to send pre-adverse action and adverse action notices directly through the platform. Compliance Alerts
Whenever a new law or regulation is enacted that may affect our clients’ background screening processes, Validity will issue a compliance alert to inform them of the potential implications for their applicant’s background checks. These alerts may be communicated through various channels including email alerts, social media notifications, and postings on our internal ordering system.
